Research

The Sorensen lab seeks researchers who are driven to take risks to ask bold questions at the interface of catalysis and synthesis. Students are intimately involved in the design and execution of their projects and the accompanying scholarship. At the completion of their degree, students will be equipped to ask incisive questions of synthetic design and chemical reactivity, and will be poised to take an active role in the chemistry community.
